Thank you, idiot!

   How many of us has been on the road, at the department store, or in a restaurant and caught ourselves thinking and sometimes saying, "You Idiot! What are you doing?" 

   Like many others I experience this affliction from time to time. Rarely do I say anything, but I catch myself wondering how stupid some people can behave. This behavior even cultivates recognition, in which the most stupid of the human race are rewarded with the title: Dumbest Criminal, or with a not-so-coveted Darwin Award.

   I write this not to upset you in any way, my goal in writing this is to give you hope. Hope for a brighter future loaded with lots of success. The very result of these people providing us with their surplus of doltish acts is the same reason you and I have the opportunity to excel in our life goals.

   Can you imagine what kind of terror this life would be if everyone were as smart as you?* Imagine a world where you can't get promoted because everyone else is just as proactive and innovative as you. Imagine a life where all the drivers on the road went the same speed. Imagine a city in which everyone was a consultant (actually this one might be true). 

   My point is this, we need to thank that guy that cut us off; that dumb criminal that fell from the ceiling trying to break into the jewelry store; and of course that irritating customer that can't make up their mind. Oh sure, they get in our way, and tick us off, but without their everyday inconveniences we wouldn't be the success we are, or will be, in the future.
